THE Brief
This was a project during a bootcamp where I was tasked with creating an open card sort and using the content to develop a one-page marketing website with a mid-fidelity desktop wireframe. Additionally, I was responsible for developing a usability test plan for a high-fidelity mobile app.

Timeline
01
WEEK
Research, Usability Test Plan, Open Card Sort, & Desktop wireframe.
02
WEEK
Research Anal, Mid to High- fidelity wireframe for Mobile,Tablet & Desktop.
03
WEEK
Created high-fidelity mobile app. Remote usability testing & more testing.
I prepare a usability test plan for a high-fidelity mobile app prototype that I will create in the third week of this project.
While completing the usability test plan I also thought carefully about the users and their needs.
Usability test plan
Methodology was Card Sort & interviews. Using these methods help me to understand how the navigation elements worked and what problems the user many have had.
Card Sort
In Figjam, I designed a new sticky note card sort activity. I recruited users to participate in the activity and asked them to group and name the items accordingly.
During the activity, I encouraged the users to think aloud while sorting, or to take time to reflect quietly to themselves if they preferred. After the card sort was completed, I prompted them to reflect on their groupings and provide feedback.
Mid-fidelity desktop Wireframe
Using what I gained from the card sort it helped me to approach the content and navigation I need to focus on while creating the desktop wireframe.
High-fidelity mockup of a one-page marketing website. This fully legible and usable on mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.
Style Guide
High- fidelity prototype Mobile App.
For example, since the mobile app. uses a bottom navigation, I followed the Material Design rules guiding use of this pattern. By using the style guide giving I added color, type, and imagery and iconography to the interface.
USABILITY TEST & REPORTS
Providing the users with scenarios and tasks as outlined in the Usability Test Plan. I tested two users and had them think aloud while completing each task.
